How to Add a Feed

There are several ways to add a feed in AOL Reader.

You have the feed URL

  1. Click on the Add Subscription icon on the top left corner under the AOL Reader logo.
  2. Copy and paste the feed URL into the text field and click Search.
  3. The feed will be added automatically.

You have the name of the site

    1. Click on the Add Subscription icon '+' in the header.
    2. Type the name of the site. If the site advertises a feed in its metadata, it will show up in the search results.




    You have an OPML file

    Using the Recommended Sources from your Home view

    1. Recommended Sources section is available on the right side of your Home view. Click on the Add Subscription icon next to the source's name to add the feed.
    2. The feed will be added automatically.


    Using Discover
    You can go to Discover by two options:

      1. Open the Add Subscription window.
      2. In the left panel, click Discover.

      In this section, you can add individual feed by clicking on the Subscribe button, or you can subscribe to the whole topic by clicking on the Subscribe All button.
